Cory Hepola is an Award-Winning Sports Anchor previously with Comcast Sportsnet in Houston, Texas. This fall his energetic personality, creative storytelling, and conversational delivery earned him another 2 Emmy Nominations, including Best On Camera Talent: Sports Anchor and Best Discussion/Interview.
Cory joined CSN-Houston in 2012 where he anchored the 6, 10, and 12:00 sportscasts. Additionally, he served as a Host for Houston Astros Pre & PostGame LIVE, and the Emmy Nominated magazine shows “Astros Bases Loaded” and “Astros Field Pass.”
Cory also does terrific work in the field. In July, he traveled to Minneapolis to lead CSN-Houston’s coverage of the 2014 MLB All-Star Game. And, in 2012, he reported from New York City as Texas-born Johnny Manziel became the first Freshman to win the Heisman Trophy.
Before Houston, Cory spent 10 years as a Sports Anchor and Reporter in different cities across the country where he twice won Awards for Best Sportscast (2010 in New York & 2003 in North Dakota).
His previous stops include: KVUE-TV in Austin, Texas, WROC-TV in Rochester, New York, WENY-TV in Elmira, New York, KTVH-TV in Helena, Montana, and KXJB-TV in Fargo, North Dakota. Cory also served as an intern for WRC-TV and “The George Michael Sports Machine” in Washington, DC.
